Homeland Security Coordinating Council
Arizona's Homeland Security Coordinating Council (HSCC) was established to serve as an advisory council to the state homeland security director.
Membership in the council consists of the following:
2 members of the Arizona House of Representatives
2 members of the Arizona State Senate
Director, Arizona Department of Agriculture
Representative, U.S. Customs and Border Protection
Director, Arizona Department of Health Services
A mayor
A city manager
2 representatives from institutions of higher education
A police chief
2 sheriffs
An emergency coordinator
A county administrator
A Arizona congressional offices representative
A tribal government representative
A public health representative
2 fire service representatives
2 public members
A fire, building and life safety representative
