ARIZONA SECURITY ROUND TABLE

In Arizona, a number of organizations and government agencies (listed below) have agreed to join forces as the Arizona Security Round Table for the purpose of communicating a basic security message to assist our fellow citizens.

Mission Statement:
To increase awareness among the citizenry of Arizona on all issues involving their protection through the dissemination of educational materials from a collaborative core of professional groups interested in promoting safety and security.

Proclamation: October 31st is Cyber Security Day in Arizona

Message:

The Arizona Security Round Table (ASRT) agrees with the central security message at http://www.staysafeonline.info/ as articulated by the National Cyber Security Alliance. Specifically, Stay Safe Online provides guidance on good password practices, using anti-virus software, using anti-spyware software, using firewalls, and not opening e-mail or attachments from unknown sources, to name a few recommendations listed at http://www.staysafeonline.info/home-tips.html. As professionals in the security arena, ASRT believes the Stay Safe Online message is sound and necessary advice, and individually our organizations will be supporting that message during the month of October.
